You’re wondering why this baby is so small? Take a look for yourself.

Canadian artist Camille Allen Dolls has a very special talent. She creates handmade baby sculptures that are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. The most fascinating part is, the figures look completely real in their structure and proportions. If they weren’t so small, you could easily mistake them for real infants.

The miniature babies are made of clay. The artist learned this skill from her grandmother. When she began practicing her hobby, Camille didn’t have enough clay to make life-sized babes, so she made tiny ones that instantly captured her heart.

“The first time I held a miniature in my hand, I fell in love. From them on I only ever made tiny babies,” explained Dolls in an interview.

It’s so fascinating and impressive that these miniature babies are so detailed and incredibly cute! I imagine one needs a steady hand, a lot of patience, and serious passion to complete one of these. Only a person called ‘Dolls’ could pull off such a thing!
